If you want to cut/splice parts of songs or loop parts of songs, you can do similar things with a regular short Crossfade, or you can edit & fade in-and-out individual clips, and then join them with Mix. I usually don't 'fade' at all, I just use Mix to start the 2nd song when the 1st song is fading-out 'naturally'. I've done quite a few CDs/mixes with 'traditional' DJ crossfades. I have went through just about all of Goldwave's built in Effects and sounds like reverse, censor, Stereo Center effects to do this, but the results are just okay, not very impressive like a real DJ that mixes out curse words or parts of songs, without pauses or noticeable skips in beat of song. I Would like to use these to do smooth sounding, editing out of curse words, or unwanted parts of songs etc, or for joining different parts of a song together smoothly.
